Tsunami...not so much part of the bed rest plan.

What a day here at the coast....starting out very early with a tsunami alert!  Tsunami warnings are just a part of life when you live on the coast...but they never get any easier or less scary.  My Mom jumped into action around 4am and started packing our car just in case we were evacuated....gotta love a Mom who is always prepared!  Sure enough the alarms went off and town was evacuated but thankfully while my parents house is only a block for the ocean front we are at a high enough elevation we didn't have to evacuate.  Taylor slept through all of the alarms and had no idea what she had missed!  My Sister being in Hawaii also gave us a scare but we are so thankful that Hawaii was safe too.  While we did receive a few surges it was nothing like what it could have been and for that we are very thankful!  Sadly the people of Japan are suffering terribly and of course are in our prayers tonight.

Cause that's just how we roll....

This morning Taylor and I boarded a private jet and flew to the coast...yep that's right...a private jet!  My Dad was planning on driving over to pick us up so we can spend the next 2 weeks with my parents from some serious RR and for me and some great playtime for Tay.  My Dad's client decided he could do better and scheduled his private jet to pick us up instead!  So insane but such a blessing.  What normally takes almost 6 hours to drive, only took 40 minutes to fly!  We had a wonderful catered lunch, sat back and enjoyed the once in a lifetime experience!

This is the life....

Ok no...THIS is the life!

Look! Mt. St. Helens!
