4 Years Old!

On Taylor's 4th Birthday I asked her the following 20 questions.  I will ask her these same questions for the next 14 years...assuming that she will still answer me! I think it will be so much fun to see how her answers change over the years. 

1. What is your favorite color? Pink

2. What is your favorite toy? My Barbie House Papa built me.

3. What is your favorite fruit? Strawberries

4. What is your favorite tv show?  Hello Kitty

5. What is your favorite thing to eat for lunch? Peanut Butter and Honey....that's what I like in my tummy.

6. What is your favorite outfit? Payten clothes (hand me downs from her BF Payten)

7. What is your favorite game? Memory like at Sunday School

8. What is your favorite snack? Wave Fruit Snacks

9. What is your favorite animal? Elephant

10. What is your favorite song? You are my Sunshine

11. What is your favorite book? Alice in Wonderland

12. Who is your best friend? Payten

13. What is your favorite cereal? Cheerios

14. What is your favorite thing to do outside? Plant the gardens with Mommy

15. What is your favorite drink? Milk

19. What do you want for dinner on your birthday? Cake.

20. What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to teach the college kids like Daddy does

10 years ago we were all in college together and look at us now! 

Easter Sunday was also Taylor Ann's 4th Birthday this year.  We had a house full of family and friends to celebrate the special day.  After Easter baskets and a delicious breakfast made by my Mom all 12 of us were off to Easter service!  The kids were SO adorable in their matching outfits....I mean come on! :)  After church we had an Easter Egg Hunt and then a wonderful Easter brunch thanks to my Mom (and a delicious ham brought my Dan and Glenda).  Taylor then got to open some more gifts!  A new bike was her big gift this year and she had so much fun learning how to ride with her Papa's help!  I just loved watching my Dad teaching Taylor just like he did with me 25 years ago.  She caught on so quickly and was so proud of herself!  Having both sets of Grandparents in the LG and the Wolf Family was so wonderful and such a great way to celebrate Easter and our baby girl's 4th Birthday!  It's kind of unbelievable to think back 10 years ago when Angie and I were 19 and just started dating Luke & Ryan.  My how things have changed!
Celebrating Taylor's birthday was so special.  When I tucked her in bed the night before her Birthday I just had to give her an extra squeeze and hold back the tears.  She is really growing up.  You never really understand what parent's mean when they say "it all goes by so fast" until it's happening to you!  My little baby is a 40" tall, 32 pound, long blond hair and blue eye beauty.  I love her so much and I am so proud to call her my daughter.  Happy Birthday to my sweet Taylor Ann.

A Wonderful Wonderland Tea Party!

Taylor Ann is 4 years old!!!  We had a wonderful Wonderland Tea Party...one we will all remember for years to come!  The party started off with making Mad Hatter headbands and then we were ready for our tea party!  We snacked on white rabbit shaped pbjs, traditional cucumber sandwiches, magical fairy-tale mushrooms, bunny crackers, fruit tea cups, a few delicious treats and of course tea!  Of course the drinks had tags that said "Read Me" and the snacks and cupcakes said "Eat Me".  After tea came games!  The kids loved trying to crack open the pinata (although it was Ryan who had to bust it open after many attempts by the kids)!  Next came Pin the Grin on the Cheshire Cat!  Lastly, the Birthday girl opened her gifts and then handed each of her friends a Party Favor Bag!  It was so wonderful to see the kids having such a great time and the joy on Taylor's face was priceless! 
The planning for the Wonderland Tea Party started months ago and with the help of Glenda collecting tea pots and tea cups and my Mom making all my food ideas come to life...we had a great party!  It was so wonderful to have our friends The Wolf Family in town as well as both sets of Grandparents.   I can't believe my baby girl is 4 years old.  She is such a joy in our lives and we are so proud of her.  Happy Birthday Taylor Ann!!!
