So this weekend we finally got to meet Bryan's Courtney...and we LOVE her! She was so nice to fly all the way out here to meet us and we had a great time getting to know her! Ryan of course had already met Courtney from his trip to Chicago last year and loves to take credit for having introduced the two, but Tay, Haley and I hadn't met her yet! We kept her busy on her quick weekend trip and took her all around town. Here are a few pictures (okay a lot) from our fun weekend! Thanks for coming Courtney, we had a great time!

Game Day Baby!
It's officially Football season and oh how Ryan LOVES to dress his little girl in "her" favorite team's gear! This weekend we had three big games to cheer for...Purdue vs. Oregon, Utah vs. Utah State and Ohio State vs. USC. Ryan is still depressed over the Purdue game, but Taylor still had a fun time cheering! Here are a few pics of our little Football fan!

Happy Grandparents Day!
My Grandparents have always played such a large role in my life and are so incredibly important to me. I know Ryan's have been the same. Both of us were raised with Grandparents that were very involved in our lives. I can remember them being at every dance recital, softball game and of course pageant...cheering me on! Grandma & Grandpa Nelson have set such a wonderful example of a loving marriage and it still amazes me when I look at our large family that it all started because of their love and commitment to each other. They are now Great Grandparents to 9, Taylor being the most recent!
I have many great memories of playing with Grandad Webb and all of his toys! My favorite of course was the purple rocking horse that I didn't understand until later was actually from a carousel ride...I guess that explains why it was so big! Even to this day he calls me "kid" and I love every chance we get to catch up...he's a talker! Runs in the family I guess you could say! He became a Great Grandparent for the first time when Taylor was born!

This post is mostly to say HAPPY GRANDPARENTS day to both of our parents! Taylor is so blessed to have you four in her life. Ryan and I couldn't ask for more supportive parents or loving Grandparents for Taylor. In the short 5 months of her life she has been showered with your love (and gifts of course) and even though there are miles and miles between us you are a HUGE part of her precious life. We would not be the parents that we are today if it weren't for you. I have written in Taylor's journal more than once that I hope she can one day fully realize how fortunate she is to have such amazing Grandparents. We love you and today especially we celebrate you!

Happy Birthday Papa!

This weekend Tay & I flew home to Cannon Beach for my Papa's birthday party! Taylor did great on the plane and we had such a fun time visiting with our family & friends! I miss the beach so much and it's always amazing to have a chance to be back...even if it's only for a few days! Love you all and miss you more than you know! Taylor is so blessed to have such a loving family! Thank's for everything!

Here are a few pictures of our visit...ok a lot!
Weekend at the Beach!
Taylor & I had a great day at the beach with our bestest friends! Gena, Cambria, Becky & Mimi came over and we spent the day playing! Taylor loves the beach of course, so we had to take a few pictures! Oh & don't miss the cute picture of Tay & Mimi holding hands...I promise they did that on their own! Aren't they cute...best friends just like their Mommies! I love it! Miss you girls already!
