Happy Birthday and Father's Day!

For Father's Day and Ryan's Birthday this year we surprised him with a trip to Seattle and of course that included taking Ryder to his very first Mariner's Game!  We got to stay at an amazing hotel downtown thanks to my parents bday gift to Ryan and took the kids to the zoo and the aquarium!  Thankfully I have my new awesome double stroller...we got some serious workouts on those Seattle hills!  We had such a wonderful time together as a family!  Taylor loved all the adventures and Ryder...well he just takes in the sights!  We laughed at how many different places I nursed him...including the lounge at the M's game, eating lunch at the zoo and on the waterfront.  Hey...when it's time it's time!   This trip followed directly from Sandcastle Day at the coast and was officially the beginning of our insanely busy summer!  Which is why I am updating all at once!

Once we got home we made a quick drive over to Boise to see our favorite family...The Wolfs!  Tay and Payten had a blast as usual and of course so did Ryan & I.  We always love when we get a chance to be together and this time was special because we now had 2 boys and 2 girls!  These kids are going to have so many wonderful memories together...makes me smile just seeing them together.  You know you have an amazing friend when she does your hair at midnight in her kitchen and then gets up and shops with you all the next day!  Love you Ang!

Happy Birthday to CK!

So fun that I get to celebrate another wonderful friend's birthday!  Carolyn...CK as I like to call her..was seriously an angel sent to me when I moved to Utah.  When I started working at Black Goose I had no idea what a wonderful blessing it was going to be because I met my amazing friend CK!  She and I are so much alike it is scary but so wonderful!  We talk every day and if and when a day goes by without a conversation I feel like something is missing.  I just love you Carolyn and I am so incredibly thankful for the friendship we have shared these past 5 years.  Thank you for being so wonderful, supporting, loving, caring and down right FUN!  I love you so much and I miss you terribly!  Happy Happy Birthday to you!  Can't wait to see you in 2 months!!!
P.S. Can we PLEASE take a new picture together soon...I am freaking prego in this one! Haha!

Pushing 30 BF!

Today is my BF's Birthday...yep it's official she is pushing 30!  She has brought such joy to my life over the past 14 years and I am just so thankful for her friendship.  We have been through so many milestones together...high school, college, wedding, moving, babies, new jobs, losing loved ones, gaining loved ones, birthdays, holidays and now her wedding!  We have spent half our lives together as best friends!  I love that Tay calls her "auntie bf" and that she will be her flower girl at the wedding! 
I saw this quote the other day and thought it was just perfect....
"Everyone has a "best friend" during each stage of life - only a precious few have the same one."
I thought...that's me. That's really me and how blessed I am to be able to say that.

Tangled Taylor

Taylor's first Sandcastle Day!  Such a fun tradition and we were all so excited for her...and then it RAINED all day.  I mean POURED DOWN RAIN!  She stuck it out though and built Rapunzel's tower like planned.  Well ok, it ended up being just a tall mound of sand because it was really just so miserable out!  Tay was so excited to get her bucket of taffy and a ribbon for building such a great castle...even better they were delivered to her by a princess! (Also known as Miss Clatsop..but Tay was just thrilled!)  My Mom was the coordinator this year and worked her bum off!  It was an awesome and very organized event...sadly it just rained so much!  Regardless we all had a blast and Ryan loved being a judge this year!  Such a fun tradition and one that I am happy to be able to be a part of again!

The Circus comes to LG!

Taylor and Sophie got to go to their first circus last month and they both LOVED it!  We had so much fun seeing all the great acts and of course the girls both loved the tigers and elephants the most!  We just loved having a fun outing!  Ryder stayed home with Daddy so Tay and I had a fun girls night out!

At the end of May Bryan & Courtney flew out to meet Ryder for the first time!  Since we live a couple hours from the closest airport they drove over with Gram & Grandpa who of course loved seeing Tay & Ryder again.  We had a great visit and loved introducing our sweet baby boy to his Uncle and Auntie!
