4 and 1

My babies are 4 and 1 and I am so thrilled that my very talented friend Jessie Street was able to capture their little personalities so well in these pictures!  Thank you Jessie...now to pick my favorites!

Pushed 30.

For years now Cambria and I have been talking about pushing 30...well it's happened.  I am 30.  No meltdowns here though!  I feel so blessed to have the life that I have at the age of 30 and I was happy to celebrate this big milestone with my family and my BF at the beach!  I haven't seen my parent's on my birthday since I was a teenager (crazy) and it was so great to be "home" at the beach.  The weather was insanely wonderful and we had such a relaxing day together.  Its unreal to think that I am already 30, how did that happen?  Just doesn't feel possible that I graduated High School 12 years ago, got married 8 years ago and have a 4 and 1 year old!  What!?
My goal for the next 30 years...take the time to enjoy my life and my family.  It's all going by so fast and I want to make sure that I soak it all in.  God has blessed me so much in life and I want to fully appreciate all that He has given me.

Utah Love.

So much fun to be back in UTAH...we miss it and all of our friends!

Dr. Hanshew and her family!
We celebrated Annie's PhD commencement and my Birthday.
Annie and Sandy gave me these great necklaces so I can show my Utah LOVE and of course Helena!

Honestly one of the best nights with some of my Besties.  A great way to celebrate the big 30.
Two days after flying home from DC we were off to UTAH to celebrate the graduation of our wonderful friend Annie!  We decided to make it a joint celebration and throw my 30th in there as well.  We had such a great time catching up with our friends, celebrating and visiting some of our favorite spots in SLC.  It's just crazy that we moved almost 3 years ago.  I still feel so connected to Utah and miss my friends there so much. Annie and Ryan started at U of U (Ryan on his PhD and Annie on her Masters and then on to PhD) in 2004 and it feels like an end of an era with her graduation!  We are so proud of you Annie!
Thank you for another wonderful visit everyone...we love you!

Well Hello D.C.!

Well it's been a little over a month...but I wanted to post pictures of my first trip to DC!  While planning the nursery for my first nephew with Courtney I decided...why the heck not just go over there and help put it all together!?!  I haven't ever left the kids for more than a day or two, so this was quite the little break for me!  I had 5 days to relax, visit with Bryan and Courtney, work on the nursery, go to Courtney's baby shower and take in the sights of DC!  I also got a chance to see my Cousin Heather and her hubby Jesse which was so much fun!
We are all anxiously awaiting the arrival of Baby Boy Dearinger...I am guessing June 2nd which is Bryan and Ryan's Birthday.  It was really special for me to have the chance to help put his nursery together and Ryan and I are both looking forward to meeting him in August when we go back out to DC!

our baby is one.

Pastor Larry helped us dedicate Ryder with our family and friends there to share the special moment with us.

It's a Cat in the Hat party!!!

Little Ones to Him Belong.
These were the favors for the adults.

Green Eggs & Ham of course!

Ryder waiting for the big moment....

One word...HILARIOUS.

Ryder's Birthday gift from Backa & Papa!!!
We spent Ryder's actual Birthday with Gram & Grandpa in Vancouver!

Ryder's first visit to the Portland Children's Museum...he loved it!

Ryder's first car...from Unky Bryan & Auntie CC
Well it's happened.  My baby boy has turned one!  Ryder is such a joy.  I mean really...SUCH a joy.  I was so emotional the night before Ryder turned one, I just held him tight and soaked it in.  He still smelled like a sweet baby.  He still wanted to cuddle and drink his Baba.  He still needed his Mommy to put him to bed.  I wanted to remember that moment because I know it won't be this way much longer.

Last cuddle before turning one...

Of course I had to throw my big man a party to celebrate the big ONE!  We decided to have Pastor Larry who married us and dedicated Taylor, come to the party and help us with a dedicaiton ceremony in front of our family and friends.  It was so special to share with both sets of Grandparents, my 91 year old Grandparents, siblings, cousins and friends.  After the dedication we had a wonderful Cat in the Hat party!  Ryder put on quite the show with eating his cake...I mean really.  He was HILARIOUS!  Apparently when your child doesn't get any sweets until they turn one...this is what you can expect!
I remember hearing people say "they grow up so fast" but it doesn't mean anything until it happens to your own babies.   Then you just want to scream...somebody make it slow down!  I am so thrilled that we have a happy and healthy one year old.  This past year was amazing and I am so proud of our Big Man!  Love you Ryder Daniel Dearinger!!!
