Happy Birthday...to you!

Today is Glenda's Birthday and Taylor was so excited to call her and sing "Happy Birthday...to you...to you...to you"!!!  We just love our Gram and hope she had a very special day today!  Taylor helped me pick out some of our favorite pictures of the two of them together, she is so lucky to have such a special Gram!

Pink Toes...Pretty!!!

So this weekend Monica and I got pedicures at this darling place in town and when I came home with bright pink toes Taylor was thrilled!
"Oh Mommy, pretty toes...they pink" and then two seconds later..."Mommy...Taylor pretty toes pink"???

Well of course I have always wanted to paint her toes but the few times I tried she wasn't into it.  This time she was thrilled and couldn't believe how great it was to have pink toes!  We even blew them dry with her princess blow dryer that actually blows cold air...it was perfect!  3 days later and Tay still looks at her toes and shreaks with excitement...pink toes!  Oh how I love having a little girl!

Monica's Birthday

I am way late on posting these pictures, but a few weekends ago we celebrated Monica's Birthday!  We shared our babysitter Anna and went out on the town in The Big!  Then the next afternoon we enjoyed the beautiful sunny day that snuck in on us and some yummy ice cream!  We had a fun time together and of course Taylor loved every moment she got with Sophie...oh and the ice cream (that's a float in the pepsi cup)!

Minnie Mouse Misprint!!!

Oh no I didn't!  So after spending hours making these darling little Minnie Mouse invites for Taylor's upcoming 2nd Birthday Party...I just discovered that I wrote the wrong date after having dropped them in the mail only 3 hours ago!  UGH!  After a not-so-mini melt down...I decided Thank God for Email because otherwise I would have a lot of phone calls to make!  Apparently I was a bit distracted with my own little Minnie Mouse running about while I was working on the invites...she is quite excited about her upcoming Minnie Mouse party!  So...please note that the party is on Saturday the 3rd of April...not the 4th as that is Easter!  Taylor is already working on the cupcakes as you can see (above) and we hope you can join us to celebrate the big #2 for Taylor!

Oh How We Love the Park!

We have had a few beautiful sunny days sneak in this past week and we have loved it!  On Monday we went to the park with Sophie & Monica for a little fresh air and some fun play time!

Gram and Grandpa's Visit...and Molly too!

This past weekend we were spoiled with Dan & Glenda coming to visit us (who we now refer to mostly as Gram & Grandpa).  Ryan & I were wanting to go snowboarding before the season is over and since Anthony Lake Resort is only 45 minutes away we thought we should check it out.  So I asked Gram & Grandpa if they wanted to come stay with us for the weekend and help watch Tay while we went to the mountatin.  We were also thinking it would be great for them to see Tay in action in her music class on Monday.  Of course they said yes and we had great visit...besides the fact that music class got cancelled.  Ugh!  Regardless, we had a fun weekend together and Taylor LOVED having them here so she could show off and drag Gram all around the house with her. Ryan & I had a fun time on the mountain...although apparently in the 3 year break I have had from snowboarding I have decided I don't enjoy it quite as much.  Probably because I was nervous of falling...which I didn't do other than the time Ryan took me out from behind getting off the lift...ugh!  It wasn't Utah snow...but it was pretty nice and we loved that it wasn't nearly as crowded as we are use to!  Thankfully we had no major injuires other than a beautiful bruise on my knee...but we had a great time together on the mountain.  Thanks D & G for a fun weekend!

Just a fun little weekend with Annie...

So Annie is at the point in her dissertation work where she is traveling and researching and we are loving it because so far it has meant we get to see her!  The Big is a great stopping point while traveling and so we have had a few visits here with her..but two weekends ago we met up with her in Vancouver and drove to the coast for the weekend.  Annie had never been to Cannon Beach so of course I jumped at the chance to play tour guide and shows her all the sights to be seen...and I do mean ALL!  We had a great weekend together and can't wait for the next visit!
