Picture Day!

Today was picture day...doesn't she look cute in her purple dress!!! We have to wait a week until we get to see the proofs and I am already so anxious to see how they turned out! Here is a picture we took of her last night when we were trying her dress on her!

Taylor's First Kiss!

Taylor had her first kiss this morning when Cole came to visit...and Dori too of course! They were so nice to bring us over lunch and visit baby Taylor. Cole was so good with her and gave her a sweet kiss! I can't believe how big he is!

Two Weeks Old!

Ryan & I are amazed at how quickly these past two weeks have flown by! Our little Taylor is two weeks old today and is up to 7 pounds 6 ounces! She had a doctor appointment today and Dr. Ring said she looks great! She's almost grown out of her premie onesies and is ready for the newborn outfits! I am excited for all of her cute clothes to start fitting her! Taylor has already started in on a good little schedule and we are thrilled! There are still moments when I look at her and I am just amazed that I have a daughter! We are truly blessed!

Taylor Loves Her Walks!

Taylor has been on two walks so far and has loved them! I think Haley loves them the most...but Taylor is just as happy as can be in her stroller! I promise she is in there!

Bye Bye Grandma!

Grandma Nelson had to leave us today and we are now officially on our own! Yikes! I can't even imagine this last week without having my Mom here...she was more help than we could have ever expected! We were able to pass off Taylor in the middle of the night, she made all our favorite meals, helped keep the house clean, did laundry, prepared bottles and was wonderful support! Taylor just loves her and misses her already! THANK YOU MOM!!!! We love you!

First Bath!

Taylor has her "big girl" belly button now and before Grandma left we decided to give Tay her first bath! She wasn't a big fan at first but she decided she liked it towards the end. We were both ready for a nap after that experience!

Happy Due Date Taylor!

Today was Taylor's due date and she is 9 days old! I am very pleased to not be pregnant still and even happier to have our little girl here already! So much has happened in these past 9 days! We have been having so much fun now that she is out of those lights and she is doing great! She has gained 6 ounces and is back up to 7 pounds now! I had to make sure we had our picture taken on her due date and we even had our first family picture taken!

More Baby Taylor Pictures!!!

Here are a few photos of the proud Grandparents and some of our favorites that Auntie Julie took while she was here visiting! She is now one week old and we LOVE her to pieces!!! Her jaundice levels are down to a 12.2 and we have officially sent the "tanning bed" back. We go in for another testing tomorrow and are praying that her jaundice levels are still going down. Ryan has now watched Taylor twice and let Mom and I go on two outings! We have had mani-peds and an eyebrow waxing appointment today! I am beginning to feel normal again and Ryan has loved the chance to be alone with his sweet baby girl! We are cherishing these last few days with Grandma Debbie still in town and we are so thankful for the few extra hours of sleep this morning when she took Taylor for a bit!

Tanning Baby

The past 48 hours have been a little hectic around here. Taylor's jaundice level spiked once we took her home and she ended up having to spend two days under the "beli-light" which I call her tanning bed. I cried for 3 hours when we found out she would have to be in there because she was only allowed to be out for feedings and diaper changes. I was so worried that she would hate it in there, but thankfully she loved it. She was just content as could be with her little goggles on. Today she was given the clear to be taken out and we are praying that tomorrow her levels will not have jumped back up so that we can send this silly bed back to the hospital. We have been loving on her all day because we missed two days of being able to hold her! Her first Dr.'s appointment was this morning and the Dr. said she was looking great! Tomorrow Taylor will be one week old...I really can't believe how quickly time is flying by already!

Taylor Ann Dearinger

Taylor Ann is finally here!!! She was born on April 8, 2008 at 11:57pm. She was 7 pounds 8.5 ounces and 21 inches long! She is beautiful and a very healthy little girl! We are totally in love with her and can't believe she is all ours! It was a tough week because I was hospitalized for 4 days prior to her being born with kidney stones...but we survived! We brought Taylor home on Thursday evening to a house full of family awaiting our arrival. Both sets of Grandparents are here and her Aunt Julie & Uncle Bryan. Ryan and I are being spoiled and are loving all of the help!

Vistors!

Taylor has had so many visitors already...I will work on posting more pictures but Mommy duties call!

38 Weeks!!!

As they say here in Utah...oh my heck!
We only have 2 weeks left until her due date and as of today I am 38 weeks! As you can see...I am huge and officially feeling uncomfortable. This week has brought quite a bit of contractions so I am hoping Taylor decides to come early...but I am pretty sure every woman who is 9 months pregnant has those sames hopes. This weeks Dr. appointment went well and Taylor's just doing fine! I think she is officially out of room in there though! I am only scheduled to work 2 more days at work, but planning on going in just as much as possible until Taylor decides to tell me to stop! It makes the days go by quick and I am frantically trying to get everything done for my clients! We'll keep you all posted!
