We made it...we actually made it. After a REALLY long day of traveling we actually made it to Maui! Mele Kalikimaka one and all! We were so excited to finally be in paradise and more importantly off that plane! Sister welcomed us with a much needed Mai Tai and Mom already had dinner ready! After a great BBQ we threw our swimsuits on and RAN to the beach! There really isn't anything like jumping in the ocean when it's pitch black out and not freezing to death! Ahhh...this is the beginning of a wonderful trip. After a great nights rest we woke up early and packed up for our first day at the beach! After soaking in as many rays as physically possible we went to an amazing dinner at Bubba Gumps in Lahaina. Taylor decided early on that she LOVED Hawaii and when we asked her where she was she said "Ha-why"! Oh and the picture with Mom holding A LOT of money...that was Papa's gift to her...,money to go buy a new wedding ring for their 30th wedding anniversary! She was thrilled and we spent the next few days trying on rings and looking for the perfect one! Day 1 and 2? Perfect...7 more days to go!
